Flora has been with us for a week now, and the time has flown by. This is probably because I've achieved very little other than looking after this adorable bundle of fluff, of course, but I wouldn't have it any other way. She's an adventurous soul, and has spent the week exploring the house and garden. On a couple of occasions there was even some spring sunshine, so we were able to play outside for a while.
Flora the explorer.
Sometimes it's cold and we want to go back inside, however.
Flora has the traditional healthy appetite of a labrador, licking the kitchen floor at every opportunity - something which Amber used to do regularly, but Isla never has.
Who needs expensive dog toys when our favourite plaything is an old watering can?
Flora has definitely found her voice this week, and frequently barks to get attention.
Isla has, on the whole, been absolutely brilliant with the young upstart. The only arguments have been over the occasional toy or - more usually - Flora's blatant disregard of the 100 mile exclusion zone around Isla's food bowl. She'll learn...
