There hasn't been much time for photography recently (unless you count a couple of weeks in Iceland, of course, of which much more later); but, on Wednesday, we had a outing from work to the Cambridge Shooting School in Whittlesford for an afternoon of archery. We were all complete novices, of course, but John D'Urso - our coach - made an excellent job of explaining some of the techniques involved.
We were then allowed loose on the bows: first, without arrows...
...and then for real!
Here are some of my work colleagues learning a new skill (with varying amounts of success, it has to be said).
Finally, a couple of "before/after" shots.
A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon was had by all.
