The weather has been sufficiently warm recently that we decided it was time to dust off the paddling pool so that Flora could be initiated into the joys of water play. At all started with some peaceful sunbathing...
...but then Harriet decided to get the hose out. Fun, fun fun.
Meanwhile, Issy was doing a valiant job of washing all the winter's detritus off the paddling pool. Needless to say, Flora wanted to help.
Now this looks interesting...
...if a little scary.
Luckily we have a big sister to show us how it should be done.
We have a special dummy designed for retrieval from water, but Isla seemed more interested in chewing on it until Flora decided to assist.

Flora at 13 weeks
Flora continues to live up to her name by being addicted to plants - well, eating them anyway, much to Harriet's disgust. Pansies are a particular favourite, but geraniums are also remarkably tasty...
Issy went shopping during the week, and brought back a large bag of vegetables. Before we could stop her, Flora had half-inched a sweet potato and was busy chomping her way through it.
...but, of course, big sister likes sweet potatoes too.
Finishing the yogurt is always an exciting occurrence - for a dog, anyway - and Isla always gets first dibs at licking out the pot.
Meanwhile, Flora waits patiently for her turn.
Finally!
Flora loves the cats, but - as with Isla two years ago - the affection isn't always reciprocated. Peace broke out for a while, though, as a result of the glorious spring sunshine.
Today we had a leak from the bathroom, which happens to be directly above my office, and water was dripping into my computer (which, conveniently, has a set of ventilation holes in the lid). The first I knew about it was when the graphics card went haywire (immediately before dying, as I discovered later). In an attempt to mitigate the damage I put the computer out in the sun to dry off. Isla and Flora decided to do a spot of sunbathing too.
